Great Northern Diver
Finished the Diver print.

7 Colour Reduction Linocut. 190mm x 170mm. Edition of 8.
Final dark added to the birds head and parts of the birds back and wings.
This is reduction is one of my favorites from all I have seen in the past year. How much is it? I love the water and your color choices are wonderful. Just great!

I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
