Almost Finished
Colour 9, a darker green in a few areas, only the final details on the crag to add next and then it will be finished.
Stuart, this is looking absolutely stunning! You have such a great way with the "big picture" of the landscape. Makes me want to try to tackle a wider view... while simultaneously making want to turn in my tools.
I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
