"The artist...is also a born adventurer. His explorations, unlike those of a tourist, are rewarded by the discovery of beauty spots unmentioned in the guide books, and with tireless curiosity and an exceptional proneness to wonderment, he will come upon objects of remarkable interest overlooked or even shunned by more disciplined observers."

3 more colours on the new print

Colour 2 on the new linocut - a dirty yellowish grey, slightly darker than the previous colour.

The addition of a little blue gives colour 3. I guess by now you can see where this is going.

Colour 4 doesn't look much but a little pale yellow ochre has been added across the bottom of the print. I am trying to keep all the tonal changes very slight. This is a snowscene, but not the brilliant white and strong blue shadows of a crisp sunny day. What I am after is the dirty yellowish light and flat shadows of a heavy snowfall.
