"The artist...is also a born adventurer. His explorations, unlike those of a tourist, are rewarded by the discovery of beauty spots unmentioned in the guide books, and with tireless curiosity and an exceptional proneness to wonderment, he will come upon objects of remarkable interest overlooked or even shunned by more disciplined observers."

Augustus John, R.A.

Ramsey Sound

Clearing Sky over Ramsey Sound.
17 colour reduction linocut.
254mm x 360mm
Edition of 6.

Finally finished the Pembrokeshire print. This print has its origins a long time ago. The original sketches were made way back in 1989 but I never did anything with them. Until receiving an email from an old friend describing a walk along this particular stretch of coast brought them back to my mind.

For those readers familiar with the Pembrokeshire coast the location is just passed the lifeboat station at St Justinians looking out across to Ramsey.

Catch Up

I have finally got around to posting my Rockcliffe print on my Folksy Shop, you can find it here

After an enforced absence from the world of the web due to a small IT issue, I'm  now back with a new print on the go.

The first colour is a pale cream printed over the whole block with just a few white shapes cut from it.

The second colour is a dark blue to light blend printed across the top half.

Followed by a darker blue across the top.

and a light blue grey across the bottom.
