Nearly finished
Colours 8,9 and 10. A sequence of progressively darker greys to bring out the form and texture of the rocks.
One more final dark and the print will be finished.
I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
