"The artist...is also a born adventurer. His explorations, unlike those of a tourist, are rewarded by the discovery of beauty spots unmentioned in the guide books, and with tireless curiosity and an exceptional proneness to wonderment, he will come upon objects of remarkable interest overlooked or even shunned by more disciplined observers."

Conisborough Castle

The Gateway, Conisborough Castle
7 Colour Reduction Linocut
186mm x 276mm
Edition Size 10

The final dark adds a little more definition onto the castle walls and gives some form to the tree on the right.
After finishing this print, I started on the next.

It doesn't look much, just a yellowish grey with some white blobs cut out. This print is all about subtlety and atmosphere.....so an obvious choice for a linocut then!

I think I just spit my tea on my keyboard.

Hi Sherrie
Got the second colour on now. Think it might be working. I have an idea in my head of what I want, getting the effect in a print is a little more difficult.
