Next Three Colours
Colours 8 and 9.
A mid blue to finish off the lake. Then the final green in the foreground.
Colour 10 below is a darker blue for the highlights on the Raven and the hill on the far horizon.
I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
