Inspiring
At a loose end this morning so spent it surfing the net for printmakers sites. After looking in on the usual suspects came across this: www.theartistsloft.com/prints and spent the next two hours mesmerised by the subtleties of the prints.
I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
