Next Two Colours
The first, a light blue for the sky, water and shadowed areas of the birds white plumage.
The next a blue green for the background hillside and the ripples on the foreground water.

I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
