Developing an Idea
This might not work. The size (180mm x 120mm) is a bit small for what promises to be some fiddly cutting. In 5 more colours we will find out.
Bwah ha ha ha! Stuart has the "no- idea-if-this-will-work-but-going-ahead-and-giving-it-a-go-before-a-live-audience" compulsion! Who needs "reality" TV when we have blogging printmakers?
I studied illustration at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, graduating in 1984. The works shown on this site are based on observations and drawings made directly from life in the field. The field sketches are mostly drawn using a Rotring Art Pen or a soft 6B pencil. The finished studio pieces are generally linocuts but I have recently started working with drypoints and mezzotints.
